Iranian cultural days has kicked off in National Library of Malaysia (PNM) in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.
The ceremony opened in Malaysia in the presence of Iranian and Malaysian officials.
Iranian ambassador to Malaysia Marzieh Afkham participated in the event and gave speech.
Afkham said that the ceremony can help people of Malaysia and other citizens in the country to understand more about Iran’s art, culture and civilization.
Emphasizing on having more dialogue and peace, and the importance of achieving peace and friendship she added that Iran is trying to expand relations with the Asian countries.
The Malaysian library hosts Exhibition of Persian handicrafts, photos and books.
Iranian movies ‘Azar, Shahdokht, Parviz and Others’ and ‘Day of Satan’ directed by Behrouz Afkhami and Majid Majidi’s ‘Songs of Sparrows’ are to be screened during the three-day event.
Iranian music bands will also perform for the visitors.
